We have experience in marine, land and forestry surveying, plus we are equipped with antennae to track microchipped birds and other wildlife.
Our Cessna 207 is equipped with bubble windows allowing observers to look straight down without having to open windows or doors. For photography, we can remove the rear door giving you an unobstructed view to the ground.

Flight Hauraki operates under Part 135 of the Civil Aviation Regulations, all staff and equipment are qualified and tested in accordance with these requirements. Additionally Flight Hauraki exceeds normal CAA requirements with with both Qualmark and AirCare accreditations.
Safety equipment carried by the plane includes a life-raft with personal locator beacon, survival suits and lifejackets for each observer. In addition, all our planes have a tracking device that is part of the Spidertracks live-tracking system which uses satellite and web-based communication to monitor the plane’s exact position every 1-2 minutes.
